In parallel to the ongoing Bernanke Review of Forecasting and Related Processes, this half-day academic workshop will examine forecasting and the setting of monetary policy in times of stress. Presentations will focus on the role of forecasts in guiding communications, the forecasting performance of central banks and current forecasting processes.
